Stayed at this gorgeous Georgian hotel a couple weeks back for my Auntie's birthday, she lives in Kingston and was hoping to find somewhere nearby to stay. I am glad she picked this place. The hotel is stunning in a beautiful location near the riverside. Not too far from Richmond town itself. My room was exceptionally clean, the restaurant was too, and every meal I had here was beyond expectations. The polite staff are always around when you need them. One of the best trips I have ever had, I can't wait to stay again.
The hotel was in a convenient location and the whole staff was so friendly. From the moment I arrived, Dana and Lura from reception were very helpful with my bags and in giving me directions to the room. The hotel can feel like walking in a maze sometimes!! Jasmine from the restaurant (I hope I got her name right) was a delight and the breakfast was tasty, just what me and my partner needed for a long day in London full of activities planned. I would stay again for sure!! Bed was comfortable and room was quiet.
This is a stunningly designed hotel, an old Georgian look from the outside belies a beautiful interior. If you really care about this stuff, look at the furniture, lighting, wallpaper, curtain. It has all been so carefully thought through and makes you feel in the lap of luxury. The rooms are reasonable size considering the location, with superbly set-up innovative bathroom set-up - what a design! Why don't more hotels make their bathrooms look like this? Very quiet considering the location with excellent black-out curtains and sumptuous sheets and pillows and towels. Food at breakfast was excellent, the muesli is a hidden treat, the cooked breakfast expected standard, superb salmon too. Architect's dream this place! I really cannot see how you can not love this place. Take critical reviews below with a pillar of salt! This is as perfect a London boutique hotel as you will ever stay in.
Excellent hotel located in a beautiful hilltop setting very close to Richmond Park. I attended a wedding held in the ballroom and the room was very well designed, with great space for 100 guests, separate bar and very attentive staff. Parking was tricky as the car park and overflow filled up very quickly. Ended up having to park on the road outside. Other than that, experience was very good and would highly recommend.
Very nice hotel, not too far from Kew Gardens and Richmond town centre. Up on the hill with some great views this place. Key highlights for me, we wanted to park for two nights as we were staying for a wedding and they only charged for one and gave the second day as complimentary. Also my partner forgot her mascara and the lady at the front desk was very helpful in letting her borrow hers! Not a service they normally offer I’m sure, but great of her to provide this. Beyond this, the beds were comfy, very cleanly and it was not noisy at all.
